Accepted verifiers for
individuals with serious health condition affected by their
current housing

Other verifiers will be considered based on the ability to
demonstrate knowledge of the applicant’s current living
situation and housing needs.
Accepted verifiers for other situations
Homeless due to crisis - previous residence became uninhabitable
due to a human caused or natural disaster.
Children can not live with applicant until stable housing is
found
Current accommodation is unsuitable for a child with special
needs; or
frequent moves are affecting minor children
Have an extremely long commute that can not be sustained.
Other circumstances or a combination of circumstances that
relate to the safety/security of a tenant or member of their
family.
Current tenants of social housing that require a smaller
unit.
