Three Ways to Home: The Regional Homelessness Plan for Greater
Vancouver includes strategies to address the needs of people
who are homeless and those at risk of homelessness.
The online
Homelessness Research Virtual Library
provides access to past and current homelessness research
from the Province of BC and the Yukon. Visitors to the library
website can browse and search for research documents by author,
population, location, topic words and research type. Once
located, documents can be downloaded or viewed online. The site
also features research news and notices of upcoming events. The
Homelessness Research Virtual Library is a partnership between
the University of British Columbia's Institute of Health
Promotion Research, Human Resources Development Canada, and
Shelter Net BC.

– This four-volume report, published by
the provincial government in April 2001, describes homelessness
in BC. The report reviews the relationship between homelessness
and the health, criminal justice and social service systems,
examines government policies in Canada, and estimates the cost
of homelessness to governments.
